Account information. When you register for an account, we collect your email address and a password. Your password is stored as a one-way cryptographic hash, meaning it cannot be read in plain text by anyone, including our staff. We also store your display name and any optional profile details you choose to add, such as your expected graduation year.

.edu verification. To confirm that you are a student, we send a one-time verification code to your email address. We record whether your email ends in.edu and store a verification status on your profile. The verification code itself expires shortly after it is issued and is not retained.

Content you post. Reviews, comments, questions, and answers you submit are stored and displayed publicly alongside the display name you provide. Reviews may include optional details such as your graduation year and length of stay. When you submit a review, you may also provide a private verification note (such as a building or floor number) that is used solely for verification purposes and is never shown publicly.

Usage and interactions. We log which properties you view, save, and click through to, including phone, email, and website clicks. This information helps us improve listings and provide analytics to property owners and managers. When you are signed in, these logs are associated with your account. When you are not signed in, they are recorded anonymously.

Search activity. We record the filters you apply on the search page and the questions you ask our AI assistant. This helps us understand what students are looking for and improve search results and property recommendations over time.

Technical data. We automatically collect basic device and browser information, such as browser type and screen size, to ensure the Service functions correctly. We may also derive approximate location information from your interactions with the map, such as the area you are browsing, but we do not track your precise GPS location unless you explicitly provide it.

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• Operating, maintaining, and improving the Service, including fixing bugs and developing new features;
• Verifying student status and restricting review-writing to verified students to keep reviews trustworthy;
• Displaying reviews, comments, questions, and other content you post on the Service;
• Notifying you about activity on your reviews or saved properties, such as new comments or price changes;
• Aggregating and anonymizing interaction data to produce market analytics for property owners and managers;
• Responding to your inquiries, providing customer support, and processing your requests;
• Complying with our legal obligations and enforcing our Terms of Service.

We do not use your personal information for purposes that are incompatible with the purposes for which it was originally collected, without your consent or as otherwise permitted by law.

Maintaining the integrity of our review system is a top priority. Only users with a verified .edu email address may post reviews on the Service. When you request verification, we send a six-digit code to your email address. Once you enter the correct code, we record a verification status on your profile.

We do not display your email address alongside your reviews, and we do not share your email address with property owners, managers, or other users. Your email is used solely for account management, verification, and the notifications described in this policy.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences such as saved properties and your last-searched market, and understand how the Service is used. Cookies are small text files stored on your device that allow us to recognize you when you return.

We also use analytics tools that help us measure traffic, identify popular features, and improve performance. These tools may collect usage data such as pages visited and time spent on the Service. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but please be aware that some features of the Service may not function properly without them.

We rely on trusted third-party providers to deliver core functionality of the Service. These include:

• Map services such as Google Maps, which provide property locations and map imagery;
• Email delivery providers that send verification codes, notifications, and other communications on our behalf;
• Hosting and database infrastructure operated by our platform provider, which stores the data described in this policy.

These providers process only the data necessary to perform their functions and are bound by their own privacy and security commitments. We do not authorize any third party to use your personal information for their own marketing purposes. • Aggregated analytics. We share aggregated, anonymized interaction data with property owners and managers as part of our analytics products. This data cannot be used to identify individual users.

You can update your profile details, save or unsave properties, and delete content you have posted at any time through the Service's interface. The Service is designed for college students and other individuals seeking off-campus housing. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of thirteen (13). If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can promptly investigate and delete the information.

We take reasonable and appropriate measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encrypting passwords, restricting access to data on a need-to-know basis, and using secure infrastructure provided by our platform partner.

We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you acknowledge that you provide your information at your own risk.
